The article provides multiple ideas on this matter and discusses related issues. Many European and American philosophers admired the Chinese school of thought, although governments cautiously perceived it (Norden, 2017). They all represent fair and beneficial activities for humanity (Norden, 2017). Their meaning is based on the absence of selfishness, kind motivation, promotion, the perfect state concept, and the development of critical thinking. Western culture should perceive the attainment of these philosophies.
Main Point of the Reading
The main point of the reading is to deliver to the people of Europe and America the importance of the actuality of both cultures’ philosophies. The author tries to extend schools of thought by reducing the limits and avoiding creating new barriers for Chinese philosophy from the Western thinkers’ side (Norden, 2017). People should understand that particular ideals build the best principles in various countries and their cultures (Norden, 2017). Conclusively, each theory should “heal” and return to its origins to make individuals develop and flourish their minds with broad philosophical concepts.
