Summary
The scope and functions of this project are determined by its purpose for constructing a residential sector that several other objects will surround. As shown in Figure 1, south of the development site is a camping area that can provide people with leisure and recreation. This function can also be performed by the fact that on the eastern side, a wildlife area overlooks the reservoir.
Complimentary Design Program

Thus, residents of the region will have the opportunity to spend time in nature. At the same time, there is a residential area in the northern part of the territory, which implies a certain level of urbanization. The agricultural zone, however, may be associated with some inconveniences, such as the frequent movement of equipment and the import and export of products and plants. The client for this development may be a company that wants to improve the territory and build an acceptable place for living.
Potential Planning Problems
A potential problem for the project is the need to design and map pedestrian sidewalks for the people who will inhabit the residential area of the site. This is important since the complex’s residents may need to overcome different distances between the allocated territories, and it is necessary to do this without transport. When creating a residential development, given its location, one of the options is to create an ecologically clean zone. For this, an important aspect will be to think over and design measures for the sustainable development of an integral complex.
Potential Solutions
To overcome the problems, one solution might be to install a sufficient number of generators that do not have the consequences of environmental pollution. Zero emissions are essential for keeping the environment in good condition and providing people with a decent standard of living (Albrechts et al., 2020). In addition, recycling is also an important part of the development of a residential area. To serve the residences, it will be necessary to build a new infrastructure that will address the identified issues. This will provide another energy source to power water treatment plants connected to the area’s water supply system.
Zoning and Infrastructure
The design program should address and focus on a zoning solution that will allow the public space to be appropriately organized. Zoning and infrastructure development are extremely important aspects of this project, as they are necessary to provide people with comfortable living conditions. Dividing the territory into specific sections, each with its own functions, can help during the development and subsequent operation stages. As shown in Figure 1, each of the selected territories has certain advantages and disadvantages.
As a result, qualified risk management is necessary to help improve the infrastructure. If necessary, it will be possible for the residential sector to reorganize the space in order to optimize each area. Open space is also an important focus since it requires organization within the residential sector so that people can spend their free time in nature. The campground section on the south side and the wildlife section to the east suit these purposes.
