States to be Affected the Greatest

Roe v. Wade is associated with enhancing women’s freedom to access abortion services. Several states have established laws that restrict abortion. Roe v. Wade will greatly affect their economic activities if it succeeds. Mississippi, Texas, Alabama, West Virginia, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Arizona, Michigan, and Oklahoma are states that will experience significant effects of Roe v. Wade (Kelly et al., 2022). This is because they have implemented bans or limits on abortions that were never removed. Roe v. Wade will contribute to an increase in earning potential, enhanced equality, and improved workforce participation. Therefore, the states above will enjoy many economic developments if this legislation is passed.

How it Affects Mexico

Mexico will witness an increased market and use of abortion medication pills if Roe v. Wade is implemented in America. This is because it will create an opportunity for Mexico to send more pills to the country resulting in improved sales (Coen-Sanchez et al., 2022). Notably, women will have the freedom to accomplish abortion if this legislation is not overturned. Mexico will intensify its abortion medication services to America. This is because Roe v. Wade will eliminate the fear of being reported if found helping women seeking abortion and lift the relevant bans or restrictions. Therefore, Mexico will benefit economically after expanding its abortion medication business to the United States.

How it Affects Medical Insurance Companies

Medical insurance companies will be able to cover abortions if Roe v. Wade is established in the country. Remarkably, health insurance associated with abortion was restricted when Roe v. Wade came into effect (Nova, 2022). The risk associated with offering coverage on abortion medication services will reduce because this legislation results in the lifting of the bans and limits. Outstandingly, more opportunities will be available in different states for medical insurance companies resulting in improved profits.
