- Decision making is very strong.

Disadvantages

- Only works in highly regulated or strict environments.

- The new ideas can be easily introduced as everybody’s opinion is respected.
- The locations are self contained and self controlled.
- All the employees are involved in making decisions.
Disadvantages
- The operations are expensive.
- These organizations are hard to control
- The coordination is absent in most of the cases.
- Duplication of resources.
- Lack of learning environment because of competition among employees.
Federal IT
Advantages
- These organizations provide the employees with autonomy.
- The interest is already defined which makes the employees to think in the same direction.
- Strong coordination exists in the federal IT organizations.
- The leadership is very strong and gives attention to the employee’s opinion.
- The employees are well informed about the goals and objectives.
- Very few chances of conflicts exist in this type of IT organization.
- The employees are given with number of benefits.
Disadvantages
- The employees are under strict observation which makes them to underperform sometimes.
- The new ideas are easily generated but adapted rarely because of strong leadership.

- The performance of the IT organizations is greatly controlled by the organizations structure.
- The organizational structure allows the organizations to perform with efficiency and effectiveness.
