In the broad meaning of the word, the industry in question can be related to the sportswear production – or, to be more exact, the production of sports accessories.

Speaking of the narrow definition of the industry in question, one must mention that the company puts a stake on providing the customers with the sole inserts that allows for better fixation of the foot and, therefore, for fewer chances for traumas and for better and more efficient training.

It should also be kept in mind that the product differentiation is rather high for the Stud Safe Insoles, since the recent evaluation of the possible rivals and the chances for the product to succeed have shown that the competition rates are, in fact, very low, which is quite understandable.

Indeed, the demand for ski boots is not very high, which makes the idea of competing in such environment unreasonable. As a result, the Stud Safe Insoles are going to be a one-of-a-kind product in the market, which will raise its differentiation greatly. Thus, the chances for Stud Safe Insoles to succeed in the current market are going to increase.

To analyze the general cost structure of the industry under consideration, i.e., winter sportswear and the associated gimmicks, it will be required to compare the fixed cost and the variable cost.

Seeing how the product in question is not quite common and has not yet been introduced into the market by the rival companies, it can be considered that its variable cost is practically equal to its fixed cost. Therefore, the ration, i.e., the general cost structure will equal one.

The aforementioned detail, however, can also be considered as a major obstacle to the expansion of the company’s business and the promotion of Stud Safe Insoles.

Since their key specifics are not typically searched for by the target audience, a sophisticated and well thought-out advertisement strategy will be required to promote the product to the target audience and make the sales for the product at the very least cover the expenses. Finally, one should remember that ski boots are a seasonal product, and, therefore, the demand for ski boots will vary depending on the season.

It can be assumed, though, that appealing to the target audience via social networking and developing stronger connection with the customers by creating a range of advertisements, which will help them see the benefits of the new sportswear, will work for the benefit of the company. Thus, it will be possible to take the niche that no one has taken yet and retain the possibility of attracting customers.

While there has not yet been any major trend in the Stud Safe Insoles production, considerable changes have occurred to the ski boot manufacturers over the past few years, mainly because of the rapid technological growth and the resulting change in the production process.

One of the most remarkable changes concerning the production of ski boots is related to the computerization of the modeling process.

The introduction of computer techniques allows defining the possible issues in the process of melting the chips that the boots are made of, as well as the process of their being molded into a shape. Despite a few issues regarding the lack of competitiveness, with new technology as its basic asset, Stud Safe Insoles are bound to become a success.
