With the discovery of adult neurogenesis, the life span of human can be prolonged by transplanting new nerve cells in the brain.

The health of a person largely determines the life span of that person. Education is another social factor that affects life, that is, in school you interact with people of different ideologies and characters who greatly influence your life either positively or negatively. The kind of family that you have been brought up in can affect your life, for instance, a child born in a poor family will have a different kind of life from a child born in a wealthy family. In addition, the number of children in a family determines the kind of life that each child in that family will lead. Moreover, the relationship of the parents and their behavior largely shapes the life of the child, for example, a child born in a family where parents are always in conflict may end up not getting married or my develop a negative attitude towards the opposite sex. There are other factors like sports that affect the life of a person, for instance, sports assist the body to stay healthy and feel rejuvenated (Nies and McEwen 356).
