Stanley Lynch Investment Group has been using an advanced information technology system to support its investment funds. However, the system does not link its departments. The case study explains how J.K. Kundra identified the major gap affecting the performance of Stanley Lynch Investment Group. The Manager of Technology (MT) informed his seniors about the benefits of using wikis. This scenario explains why the company should implement a Centralized Computer System (CCS).
The approach will make it easier for different users to access information (Bateman & Snell, 2015). The company’s CIO should be the accountable for implementing this action. The CIO should collaborate with different MTs in order to identify the most appropriate systems for the company.
The current discrepancies affecting the firm should encourage different managers to identify the best goals (Bateman & Snell, 2015). This knowledge will make it easier for them to implement new systems that can improve the level of performance.
