Introduction
The beauty of nature surrounds people every day if they take the time to notice it. For me, the most beautiful natural object in the world is a tree leaf. I discovered its exceptional beauty during my school years in a biology lesson. I am sure that science can praise the beauty of nature and explain the importance of its conservation. The purpose of civilization’s existence must remain the preservation of the world and its vast diversity.
Finding Inspiration in a Single Natural Element
A tree leaf was one of the most beautiful natural objects, which has always inspired awe. When I look closely at the swaying of leaves on a branch, see young leaves in the spring, or walk through leaf fall, I feel an incredible closeness to nature. I had such feelings back in school when I first looked at a tree leaf under a microscope and noticed striking combinations of lines and patterns. My fascination with this natural beauty stems from the fact that the leaf is a symmetry that always attracts people (Wilczek, 2014).
The Harmony Between Science and the Art of Nature
Science can enhance this natural beauty, allowing one to look at it up close and see a clear structure and unusual, always different patterns. The sciences that study the diversity of life on earth and its laws are intertwined with the art of nature. Science can celebrate diversity, promote respect, and illuminate the value of the world around us. The beauty of nature encourages the desire to preserve biodiversity.
The Call to Conserve and Protect Biodiversity
A person should strive to preserve and conserve natural resources, such as the beauty of glaciers, the biodiversity of the tropics, marine life, and various plants (Balatarinn, 2011). People should also consider moral and ethical standards, take personal responsibility for preserving diversity, and remember that we have no right to destroy what was not created by us. Expanding and protecting diversity is the key to preserving habitats and respecting the surrounding world.
Conclusion
In conclusion, science and the beauty of nature share many similarities and mutually benefit each other. Humanity must continue to study the diversity of nature on our planet to better preserve and protect it. The need to maintain our habitat, the awareness of personal responsibility, and the desire to continue contemplating the beauty of the world around us should become engines in maintaining and expanding biodiversity.
