The global code of conduct for the company shall include general aspects of good conducts at the workplace. The code will reinforce respect at the workplace, integrity when dealing with other stakeholders, observations of ethics, and protection of the company’s innovation. The company shall expect all employees to adhere to the contents of the code. It also encourages employees to consult with fellow workers and senior colleagues who are familiar with the principles.

The company shall focus on integrity as a core value. The company shall abide by all regulations, laws, and standards in different countries. Employees must protect the name of the company, and they should uphold the integrity of the company in professional issues. In this respect, the code must instill a culture of consultation and address ethical issues with favorable outcomes. The company will also provide anonymous means of contacting executives in cases of sensitive integrity issues. Employees with integrity must also protect the company’s assets and intellectual properties.

The code shall emphasize respect at the workplace among employees. All employees must encourage diversity and inclusion. The code aims to create an environment in which all stakeholders feel respected, valued, and feel like members of the team. The company shall not tolerate any forms of discrimination, human rights abuse, and harassment.

The code will provide guidance on the use of the company’s confidential information from all sources. Employees must engage in proactive measures to protect all data and other devices with sensitive information. Employees must not use personal information of others for their personal gain.

The company shall promote honest and open review of every situation in order to find amicable solutions for such conflicts of interests. Employees who face such challenges in their duties may seek transfer, different roles, or recusal from such proceedings.

The code shall encourage employees to make critical decisions on ethical issues. Thus, employees must avoid conflicts of interests and corruption. Such activities will be punishable by the laws of respective countries. They shall also include kickbacks, interaction with government officials, and other stakeholders.

The code would assert that all business gifts must be legitimate, allowed, and appropriate. Any employee must consult the manager and the HR about any gift from a stakeholder. Employees also have responsibilities of disclosing such gifts to their supervisors. The code shall list all gifts, which the company allows. It will define all gifts, which are suitable for a given sector, title, and functions with the aim of establishing acceptable gift policies and standards.

The code shall not allow employees to give, solicit, or receive any gifts, which undermine the gift policies and principles. It will prohibit any gift, which may influence or purport to provide unfair advantages or influence business decision-making. The company will define the acceptable value (in terms of the US dollar) for all gifts.

The code shall promote the interests of all shareholders by instilling effective corporate governance practices.
