Nowadays, the issue of a global pandemic is widely discussed, considering its significance to everyone’s life. I have noticed that since the beginning of 2021, most businesses have implemented various changes to their functioning to survive. This phenomenon might result in positive global changes in the method most enterprises operate and utilize useful innovations. My experience can be accurately presented by following the six stages of Gibbs’ Reflective Cycle (“Gibbs’ Reflective Cycle”). This essay will examine the object of my curiosity with the use of the model.
The trend of finding ways to improve the current systems and the quality of service provided, triggered by the pandemic, is my area of attention. The reason for it is the frequency of innovations’ manifestations noticing by me. I have received a significant amount of information through social media and advertisements about measurements taken by businesses from the beginning of 2021. As it was no longer possible to avoid the consequences of the pandemic, it was necessary to adjust the functioning of enterprises accordingly.
I realized that I am a part of significant and global changes, which will affect everyone, and it made me excited with new opportunities this situation may conceive. Simultaneously, I am confident that the state of affairs is favorable for people who spent time and took efforts to adjust their businesses’ functioning. I think that because of the necessity to coincide with governments’ requirements, the community is at the beginning of new decisions for enterprises and customers inventing.
I learned from this situation that it is vital to grow and improve even in unfavorable conditions. If I were one of the business’s owners during a similar period, I would concentrate my efforts to make the functioning of the enterprise safe for customers and employees. Simultaneously, I would pay attention to the efficiency of the enterprise through the invention of new methods of service provision.
