One of the issues that make character to be of importance than other issues is dependence. This is the aspect of having something with which someone relies one. While this is an inborn aspect, dependence contributes a lot in business management. One of the areas within which business contributes to development is in the decision-making process.

While many businesses have been known to operate under independent environments, the aspects of having dependence is known to influence many issues in business (Bowie & Werhane, 2004). The decision-making process has several aspects that require mutual partnership as well as responsibility in order to function as it ought to be.

The issue of dependence has been taken by many growing corporations to develop a foundation on which to lay their companies (Bowie & Werhane, 2004). This means that corporations have raised eyebrows to other companies and although this is ethically debatable issue, three companies have managed to operate in liberty and realize huge profits as compared to other corporations.

Dependence is therefore very important in business growth as it ensures that businesses learn and take after other successful businesses in terms of decisions and operations and through this, they earn immense backup and support (Bowie & Werhane, 2004). Dependence is therefore a habit described under character and it represents one of the ways that can lead to success in a business. Without observing these character-defined aspects, it can be hard for businesses to grow and expand.

Another character-inspired trait is the independence. This is when decisions are made upon personal choices and hence are not subject to other issues and other operations (Bowie & Werhane, 2004). The independent trait allows managers to practice leadership and intuition at which personal preferences are left out for the company’s sake. The independent aspect is very important for businesses as it gives ways through which businesses can effectively operate their functions without having to be misled by other people.

In addition to the above benefits, the issue of having independence in business ensures that the operations are not compromised and that every decision is made without copying, but from the needs of the company (Bowie & Werhane, 2004). The independence aspect therefore ensures that business managers are in a position of ensuring total diversion from certain reliance and following. From the independence trait, the business decision is laid upon the issues at hand but not upon the requirements of other businesses and corporations.

Independence as a trait in businesses is therefore very important as it illustrates the best juncture for businesses to make decisions as a well as make influential steps towards business growth (Bowie & Werhane, 2004). These traits indicate that while other pressures may be of importance, the habits within characters have very positive roles in our lives. The decision to make personalized and independent decisions influences the manner in which corporations operate within a certain environment.

Relying upon some other parsons may be perceived as better for the company, but it jeopardizes the decisions made since they can be revoked by the original persons who implemented them. For this reason, there are issues that must operate under the character traits in order to make positive changes to company’s issues (Bowie & Werhane, 2004). Without consideration of the following issues, it becomes hard for businesses to generate enough resources for the sake of competition, growth and development.

The other issue that operates under the character perspective is the interdependence aspect. While independence can be perceived as very important in business and social growth, the issue of interdependence expects society to live in interrelationships with one another through sharing of ideas in order to progress (Bowie & Werhane, 2004).

Although independence is perceived as the best trait for one to follow, humanity lives in interdependence. This means that one has to make use of another person in order to succeed. Otherwise, it becomes hard to penetrate the barriers that are present in not only business environment but also other social issues.

With interdependence trait, business managers are in a position of making use of other investment channels created by other investors in order to succeed (Bowie & Werhane, 2004). Manufacturers can therefore make use of retailers and wholesalers to create demand and through which to supply their products.

The manufacturers have therefore to rely upon the wholesalers, who also have to rely upon the manufacturers to generate positive impacts. The interrelationship on different aspects ensures that companies and management provide the best environment for other parties in order to mutually benefit from the initiative.

This means that interdependence operates as mutual agreements where specific companies benefit from specific issues from a different company (Bowie & Werhane, 2004). The other issue that defines why character is important for businesses is the aspect of being proactive in daily activities. While this is perceived as the pressure towards making either independent of dependence choices is one of the major traits within characters, there should be elements of self awareness and rational response to stimulus.

This is what is defined as being proactive. Character is therefore the most significant issue within any corporation as it sets out different scenarios that should be followed for the realization of success. By understanding the environments and other surrounding conditions, managers should be prepared for any issue that arises in the said business (Bowie & Werhane, 2004).

The aspect of character is known to start with the goals in order to progress. Setting and following up goals is very important as it creates conditions within which businesses to operate. The realization of the goals required within a corporation is one of the contributions of character towards personal and organizational success (Bowie & Werhane, 2004). Personal principles are some of the things that are defined to contribute to personal success and for this reason; character is seen as the most significant of the aspects practiced in business.

Planning and prioritizing are other issues within individual characters. This means that for any project to be true, the plan should be well established (Bowie, & Werhane, 2004). This means that the first things are put in first, while other issues are arranged according to use and relevance.

It’s the character that is known to make these distinct choices and developments and since prioritizing things require sound and reliable character, it’s evident that without character, business and social decisions cannot be made. Through prioritizing issues, there is the aspect of winning. Competition arises when individuals initiate similar projects at the same time. This creates an aspect of congestion and hence establishes an aspect of competition.

In the win/win situation, character of managers is to be credited. This is because characters define means of ensuring wins and keeping away from losses. The aspect of understanding the situation at any given time is another trait that defines what character can provide in any business environment (Bowie & Werhane, 2004).

Without understanding the situation at hand, one cannot make others to understand his perspective. For this reason, character requires that one understands the situation in order to convince others of the situation. Otherwise, people perceive the information with doubt and this makes it hard for other people to understand the situation at hand.

Synergy and sharpening the traits are other issues that contribute to the development of companies as well as in ensuring that there is success for most corporations. Synergy is concerned with making integrated initiatives that link personified and independent decisions in the company’s operations (Bowie & Werhane, 2004). It ensures that while decisions may be independent, there is need for integration for the sake of development and growth. Synergy hence allows individuals tom be proactive and help in the development of company’s affairs.
