There is a difference in the consideration of the new rules and obligations that one has to meet in order to establish the relation between the land and the animals as well as plants that are sustained by this land (Leopold 1). There is a possibility of evolution of the flora and fauna according to the needs of the organisms of the land. Considering the existing knowledge of the societal usage of land, it has been described by early thinkers and philosophers as being wrong.

The implication of this formulated ethics is that the demarcation of the land resources such as soils, water and organisms increases. The effect that the soil is exposed to shows well enough that man has no care for the resources on land. This ethic is effectively bringing up the issue of prevention of the changes of the resources on land.

The role of the conqueror was considered by Leopold Aldo as self-defeating because the efforts to create more resources to man’s use had led to sustenance of the human population as well as the existence and respect of other members of the community living on land (3). The need to know the real value of each member of the community is becoming hard to be defined immediately by people. The exact value of land as well as the need to derive resources from it is also undefined. Probably, the occupants of land (the humans) cannot estimate the exact value of the resources they are resting on despite the efforts to use the land for sustenance and perpetuation of life.

Leopold Aldo believed that the current efforts to conserve the environment were carried out by individuals regardless of the education system. It is education that should bring enlightenment to people; as a result, the environment will be treated with much love and admiration, and subsequently, its conservation will be affected well (4). On the other hand, education itself cannot reach the point of enlightening society over environmental conservation. Just as the Wisconsin case showed, the farmers had formulated the district laws that were, however, not followed up later. This is attributed to the fact that education was lacking at the time of establishing those rules (5). Therefore, the importance of such laws can be understood only with proper prior education. The biggest setback to the ethic land relation is the attitude of people to the land. It is considered as a cause of slavery, and hence the devised modes of cultivating are favorable to the conservation of the natural resources on the land.

The requirements for the ethical relation to land as believed by Leopold Aldo include such aspects as a proper education that leads to a good understanding of the ecology (5). The intellectual process of land ethics will be proved viable with the education being applied prior to the laws of conservation coupled with good intentions. This critical understanding of the economic use of land can be applied to ensure complete land and its resources’ conservation over time. The use of this mode of approach towards the conservation of the land will lead to the social understanding of the right usage of its mineral wealth.

If this is a common application, then environmental conservation will take another course over time. Remodeling the usage of the land resources will be applied, and a more profound approach of conservation can lead to sustained and proper use of natural resources. The relation between man and other non-human nature will be of mutual benefits aimed at a balanced ecosystem.
