In some instances, drug testing should be carried out by specially trained people, as it can protect other visitors during festivals.

The United Kingdom has often faced incidents involving drug use by visitors at music festivals. If you take the example of a dance festival in Australia, out of 78 percent of the people reporting drug use, 85 percent were using Ecstasy, which is quite heavy (Palamar et al., 2021).
