Introduction
The spiritual path of the human being is hindered by many barriers and confusions, impeding a clear understanding of one’s true purpose or goal. The etymology of the term mission does not originate from the religious scriptures of the Bible, and there is a desire to ascertain a meaning that aligns with the divine purpose.
Defining the Mission of God
I believe following God’s mission is crucial to follow and consider daily since it accurately depicts his actions and purposes. In my opinion, the mission of God is to use the resources provided and our own will to bring people together and create a new world where society can prosper and develop. His mission is to save people from their sins and restore His excellent name in creation. The mission also holds that all can fulfill it without calling themselves missionaries or pastors (The Mission Table, 2015b). His work demonstrates a practical expression of God’s love that extends to even the remotest corners of the world (Barnett & Martin, 2012).
Understanding the Activity of Missions and My Role in God’s Mission
The main activity of the mission is manifested in sending supernatural and human mediators to fulfill part of the mission and recruiting new doers of good deeds. I saw myself as an advocate for disseminating this mission to the general public. This position involves purposefulness and empathy, not missionary status (The Mission Table, 2015a). This aspect includes actively engaging in people’s lives and displaying affection without words (Barnett & Martin, 2012).
I can recruit supporters and guide them on a mission by convincing them they do not have to be Christian (Spitters & Ellison, 2017). They can become traders who bring God’s mission to the masses, changing people’s mindset from the American ideal to action for the Savior (Jojo89, 2018). Pioneering missionaries can also reach unreached populations with the gospel (Desiring God, 2017). My goal in God’s mission is to inspire and bring awareness to as many people as possible and help them enjoy God.
Conclusion
In conclusion, examining God’s Mission and missionary activity demonstrates the intricate relationship between divine intention and human potential. God’s mission, as the redemptive narrative of the Creator, goes beyond conventional definitions and includes all of creation. As a manifestation of divine intention, missions necessitate a comprehensive approach that integrates both proclamation and compassionate action. Individual involvement in God’s mission is a shared duty that highlights the essential contribution of each individual in promoting the Kingdom of God.
