Introduction

How Parents Can Help Teenagers Deal with Adolescent Conflicts
The main recommendation for any parent is to remember their own behavior and thoughts at this age. Undoubtedly, most people experience a character change as they grow up, but they rarely forget this most richly experienced, emotional, and formative period (Sun et al., 2021). A rejection of ideals, a change in hobbies, and a mutation of stereotypes—parents cannot immediately identify what is happening to a growing child.
No less important advice would be to be patient and communicate openly with their offspring during the upbringing. This quality is the main factor that distinguishes the adult from the teenager. Few people can boast of growing up heir who can boast at least a hint of patience at this age (Sun et al., 2021). It is why the task of parents is to assess the child’s behavior and aspirations as patiently as possible and respond appropriately and gently, even in difficult and critical situations.

If a parent is not honest and responsible in their reactions, the possibility of losing the trust and some of the child’s attachment appears. Thus, interference in the child’s affairs should be minimized and limited to careful, superficial control. After all, relationships during this period are essential to future relationships in the family for the rest of one’s life.
