The scientific revolution was a turning point in the history of science. This event had an impact not only on the life that existed at the time of the discovery but also on modernity. The transition to a new era of discovery was an unexpected moment in the history of science but left a significant mark on future discoveries. Although the process of revolution was initially only in astronomy, it soon affected the physicists, determining their future findings. The strengthening of the relationship between physics and astronomy was an event that gave rise to the modern understanding of the world in which mankind lives.

Nicolaus Copernicus

The scientific revolution began in the 16th and 17th centuries in the field of astronomy. It all started with the name Nicolaus Copernicus, born in the early 16th century. Century introduced humanity to the solar system model (de Courson et al., 2023). This geocentric view dominated for hundreds of years, and the name Copernicus is associated with the transition from traditional cosmology to a reassessment of the workings of the natural world.

Johannes Kepler and Galileo Galilei

The next important name in history is Johannes Kepler, who continued the astronomy revolution. The scientist proposed three laws of planetary motion that help understand the orbits of the planets around the Sun (de Courson et al., 2023). Finally, the final step was taken by Galileo Galilei, who provided evidence that the heliocentric model was indeed reliable. One can say that astronomy was the beginning of great discoveries that created a complex picture of the world.

In conclusion, the scientific revolution is a challenge to humanity’s traditional cosmological understanding of how the Universe and the Earth, in particular, function. The names of Copernicus, Kepler, and Galileo will forever be remembered in history as they provided empirical observations and experiments that spread to physics and created the greatest theories and laws. The discoveries made during the scientific revolution were a breakthrough in physics. After proving the relationship between astronomy and physics, mankind became more aware of the scope of the universe and how it obeyed its laws.
