On the third missionary journey to Jerusalem, I followed Paul from Tyre through Asian Minor and Antioch. When we got at Ephesus, we were received with a lot of hostility as the silversmiths accused us of making them lose their income as they relied on selling silver idol, which according to the Gospel that were teaching, was not right. The mob almost killed us, but nevertheless we decided to continue with the apostolic journey to Jerusalem.

Upon arrival in Jerusalem, a meeting had been arranged for us to meet James and all the church Elders. Paul provided a detailed account in regards to the ministry. The elders were happy and we praised God together for his work. The elder will later reveal to us that there were reporting circulating in Jerusalem that Paul teaching was aimed at making Jews forsake the laid Jews customs including observance of the Mosaic Law and circumcision. It was agreed that we will join the elders in observing the vows as per the Mosaic Law as a way of proving to the people that we were not against the Jews law.

On our way to the temple to observe the vow, some angry Jew mobs attacked us accusing us of taking Gentiles into the temples. Paul being the lead figure was almost killed by the mob. It took the intervention of the Roman Soldier who rescued him. He was quickly put into the custody for interrogation. After questioning, he was found guilty and imprisoned.

Paul would later be transferred to a prison in Caesare when he was locked up for two years. On assuming the role of Governor, Porcius Festus ordered that Paul be transferred to Rome prison. It was during the sea journey to Rome that the ship was wrecked and Paul found his freedom at Malta where he continued preaching the Gospel.
