Nowadays, the United States may be divided, yet it remains steadfast in its position as the world leader. This country is built on the fundamental rights that Americans fought for throughout its history. People dedicated their lives to the betterment of the land they were given and pushed past many obstacles in the past centuries. The U.S. government is focused on vital priorities that correlate with societal movements. That idea remains true today — Americans excel at innovations that improve everyone’s lives. This essay will review factors that affect the United States’ ability to govern people with great dedication.

The primary strength of the U.S. government lies in its commitment to upholding the constitutional rights of individuals. This promise has a profound impact on people’s trust in their nation and gives them the motivation to make ethical decisions. The second vital aspect of this country’s political system is the versatility of choices that are not locked in a single direction. Governmental officials do not lean toward a single ideology, which allows them to combine policies from different sources based on their perceived efficiency.

One of the persistent problems of the United States is its two-party system. The conflict between Southern and Northern States has led to the duality of the political framework within the country, which is based on diametrically opposite views on the general direction of U.S. society (Wolfford 533). Another critical issue in this country is its healthcare system. This issue can be attributed to the inability of different parties to agree upon a single direction in this industry, leading to lagging policies and ineffective changes (Wolfford 450). However, compromises are inevitable, as people have the ability to vote for the right choice.

In conclusion, the United States has both strengths and weaknesses in its structure, yet the direction is changeable. I think that the country has a promising path ahead since its people have more means to cooperate and seek viable solutions to critical issues. While there is resistance to change, people now have an opportunity to unite regardless of their political views and develop flexible policies.
