In today’s world, there are a large number of platforms through which people buy, rent, or download. However, there are still many ideas that can be successfully implemented. The idea of Trade-In is not new and convenient for both buyers and start-ups. For many big brands, this is a way to get people to buy. Moreover, buyers in this case, receive a significant discount on the desired product. Thus, the very theme of “second life” for old things is now more relevant than ever.

One successful platform in this area could be to create a website or app where people can sell their old smartphones and buy others. This idea is not new and a similar project already exists. However, it operates within a single country and is not widely used. The point of the proposed platform is that it will be more convenient and more widespread. All phones uploaded by users will be divided according to the brand, model, year of manufacture of the gadget and the amount of memory in it. If the user wants to sell his old phone, then for this, he must first select a new model and then fill out a form for selling the old one.

The current generation changes the phone about once every year and a half. This means that with the same regularity, they get rid of other phone models. At the same time, the application will contain not only filters regarding the release code and brand of the phone but the state at the time of sale. This way, people can afford to buy the phone they want at a reduced price. Additionally, conscious consumption is a way to improve the ecology of the earth. As for earnings, platform owners will earn on the difference in price when concluding a sale.
