I watched the video “How to Read a Client’s Personalities and Emotions in 2 Minutes or Less.” The speakers were Jesse Zagorsky and Janki Patel, the LCA’s moderators. This video contains a lot of helpful information for working in the real estate business.

One key concept that can be learned from the video is the importance of understanding the client’s emotional state and personal preferences in real estate transactions. By paying attention to the non-verbal signals that a person gives in response to the questions asked, you can better understand the client’s communication style, fears, and motives (Lab Coat Agents, 2021). Acting this way can help professionals better prepare and adapt to achieve a better negotiation outcome.
Application of the Concept
To apply this concept to my work in the real estate industry, I need to learn to listen carefully to customers and treat their words with understanding. Observing people’s behavior during a conversation can also reveal a lot of valuable information that can help you better understand them and what they want (Lab Coat Agents, 2021). It is worth trying to ask open-ended questions more often so that people will share their opinions more willingly. Tone and body movements are essential for understanding clients’ emotions.
Alternative Concept from the Video
Another important concept that I learned from the video is the idea of mirroring. It consists of quickly repeating the client’s body and language patterns to create the most comfortable communication conditions (Lab Coat Agents, 2021). In addition, the video emphasizes the importance of active and attentive listening and empathy.

In conclusion, it is essential to say that there are also topics that could complement the video. These topics could be covered in this presentation, such as considering working with clients in a culturally different way and noticing the emotional differences in behavior to get a clearer picture of the customers.
