Introduction

This paper will discuss one such technology, VitalPatch, a wearable form of patient monitoring technology, how it interacts with service providers and EHRs, and what precautions are taken to protect data.
Technology Description
VitalPatch is a small wireless sensor applied to the patient’s skin. It continuously monitors vital signs such as heart rate, breathing rate, body temperature, and activity level.
