Introduction
Writing about food seems to be not as challenging and provocative as the necessity to create a paper and prove my readiness to start writing. Instead of focusing on my strengths and abilities, I have to deal with my fears and professional doubts.
Certain questions about the correctness of choice or the ability to recognize and complete all the tasks properly get in my head. However, as soon as I remember my goals and intentions to become one of the best representatives in the food industry, I have many thoughts about my career path, possible success, and potential challenges. This course of writing is a good chance for a future food industry expert to learn how to organize work, plan actions, and evaluate skills in order to introduce a solid result and be proud of achievements.
Main body
The food industry and the process of cooking have been my passion since childhood. I enjoyed observing my parents preparing food together after their work or during weekends. I ardently followed the movements of the cookers at the open-kitchen restaurants. With time, I began to take my first steps in cooking and achieved success. The decision to enter a chef school was evident, and I had to evaluate my strong and weak sides and check if I could meet the standards and my expectations. However, becoming a student also means dealing with a number of assignments and introduce various projects.
For example, this course aims at motivating and organizing writers, using correct mechanics and grammar, and working with different texts. I am interested in developing my skills to check if I can cross this line and become an extraordinary writer. This course should help to understand how to work under deadlines, meet the requirements set, follow the structure, and never forget about the zest that can make my work unforgettable.
I believe that I have enough qualities to open a restaurant one day, but the presence of some shortages and the necessity to deal with challenges decrease the level of self-assurance from time to time. I always face some difficulties in writing letters or creating stories. It is hard to choose the right beginning and develop clear topic sentences to provoke interest in my readers. I realize that stories matter and my task is to know how to introduce them in the most attractive ways and be ready to share the gained experiences. As a future restaurant owner, I should know how to work with people and guide them. My guides, as well as recipes and techniques, have to be available to people, and my writing is a key to this access.
This course is a good opportunity for me to focus on my strengths and use them in my career development. I can use my search skills and quick reactions to identify the priorities and get straight to the point. I want to be helpful and also have several credible sources to address for the help in cases of emergency. My passion for the food business should not be one-sided, and I am ready to try myself in different fields and gather as much knowledge as possible to achieve success.
Conclusion
In general, I suppose that this course may open some new strong aspects in my personal and professional life. It is not enough to be good at something; however, it is also dangerous to try to grasp many things and fail. My goal is to find the golden middle with the help of which I can balance between what I can, what I want, and what I have to do. My high-level writing is not the final outcome, but it is a considerable contribution to my future success and professional growth.
