Tolerant and equal treatment of each individual on the team is the key to developing camaraderie and avoiding the risk of litigation. Among the organizations that publicize and evaluate workplace discrimination is the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

Since the company has violated women’s rights, it should incorporate a strategy to integrate women into all processes. Second, this can be accomplished by adapting the work environment for protected classes.
Recommendation
Premium Packaging should change the hiring process related to gender and conduct proper testing of skills and abilities. It is recommended that third-party observers be brought in to evaluate the hiring processes and interview protected classes. The company also should change how it handles applications for promotions. It can be done by changing the structure of vertical and horizontal staff dynamics. These strategies can be accomplished in the organization by revising the internal corporate culture and reviewing the mission and purpose of the company as a whole since the company does not state the value of its workforce anywhere.

The Pretium Packaging, Llc. Case again points out that while strict legislation is in place, employers are unfair in their efforts to employ a diverse workforce. This lawsuit indicates that the law needs to become stricter, and there is a need for more advocacy organizations.
