Praising employees for hard work and achievements is the right way to provide them with positive feedback and keep them motivated for the future. Complimenting for real results shows individuals that the results of their work are noticed and appreciated by the leadership. At the same time, it is essential to remember that the praising comments have to be sincere and warranted. Using parsing in such a way will allow nursing managers to develop positive interpersonal relationships and a friendly environment in the team (Grossman & Valiga, 2016). This practice will reinforce the positive loop, where personnel invest more attention and energy in their work and feel that the efforts are worthwhile. Understanding the importance of this aspect of management will help the leadership to improve the quality of work of the department and the satisfaction of the employees.
