Generate a priority matrix for AET’Ss system move
Brian Smith is the general overseer at Advanced Energy Technology, a firm that operates in the petroleum industry and wishes to execute the relocation of information center to a new workplace place. A priority matrix is necessary in any project planning purposely to enhance project’s main concern and it also determines the measurers that a manager need to implement, identify or ignore (Elia et al., 2021). A good project requires the tradeoff between three main factors which consists of: performance, cost and time need to complete the project.
The Advanced Energy Technology administrator needs to work within the time bound of about three to four months to accomplish the project. Furthermore, the firm depends on Information Technology as its main competitive advantage. Therefore, there is a need for performance enhancement and increase the project cost to maintain the reliability of the firms services. Below is the Advanced Energy Technology matrix:
Develop a WBS for Brains Project. Include duration (days) and predecessors
Priority matrix determines the most crucial duties in the project management and it indicates the tasks that project leader’s needs to put emphasis on to accomplish the project (Elia et al., 2021). Project priority matrix includes things that the project managers need to improve in a project, constrains in project and necessary and unnecessary things in the project. Below is the priority matrix for Advanced Energy Technology:
A’s system indicated that 235 customers were not supposed to suffer from downtime therefore it’s obvious that performance was not compromised. The project also has an oblige performance because it is too complex. However, B system has to apply a corresponding technique to execute the task. Brian should also work around the clock to finalize the task in time because the firm is moving to another building and keep on with regular operations of the firm (Elia et al., 2021). The corresponding of the project is toward B so; the project has no cost related problems which can result to rise of costs.
