The modern world is rapidly moving towards globalization. In particular, this significantly affects the processes of delivery and transportation of various products and goods. Now the air cargo industry is developing faster every day (Mangan, Lalwani & Calatayud, 2020). This allows people from different countries to purchase goods quickly and reliably and therefore promotes international trade. This issue is raised in the video Air cargo and e-commerce enable global trade (IATAtv, 2019). The purpose of this paper is to discuss this video and the main benefits of air cargo described in it.
This video tells viewers about the impact of air cargo on e-commerce. It has a positive effect on the creation of international cooperation between different companies. Moreover, air cargo allows for the creation of innovative products through joint international efforts (IATAtv, 2019). In addition, it enables developing countries to reap more benefits from interactions with developed ones. This reduces injustice and inequality between them, making society more fruitful and balanced.
In my opinion, the most crucial detail of this video is narrowing the gap between countries with different economic levels. Now, this is critically important since the digitalization of the world leads to people’s awareness of each other’s problems. Hence, it is crucial to maintain equality and provide all people with an enabling environment. This contributes to the creation of friendly and harmonious society in the future.
Different countries are mentioned in this video: both developed and developing. On the one hand, developed countries can benefit from developing ones and thus create a positive image. On the other hand, developing countries benefit from interaction with developed ones. They may receive goods and services that would not have been available to them without air cargo. Thus, this bilateral development can be beneficial to both sides. Therefore, it is necessary to take into account each of their interests in international interaction and try to maintain a balance.
