He brought new programs for working national homes, supporting entrepreneurship and innovation in Florida (Mintrom & O’Connor, 2020). He also made significant improvements in the fields of education, health care, and labor rights.
One of the main achievements of Governor DeSantis is Reopen Florida: Governor Ron DeSantis has issued executive orders to begin reopening the state of Florida after the lockdown, with the goal of restoring normalcy to the economy and providing relief to businesses, workers, and families. Nevertheless, Governor DeSantis has received much criticism for his proposal of a legislative project on the rights of people with disabilities (Mintrom & O’Connor, 2020). His project proposed changes to the rules for medical services for people with disabilities, which led to criticism from lawyers and disability rights advocates.

Overall, the work of Governor Ron DeSantis in the state of Florida can be assessed as quite good. His wise decisions and useful initiatives have helped the state to take the right direction and progress. However, he needs more understanding and agreement regarding the rights of persons with disabilities and the improvement of the healthcare system.
