Introduction

The main issue is whether our society did justice to the minority black people amongst us. Reviewing our constitution and looking at the principles of social justice am is going to conclude whether the blacks were affected by the injustice of the society or their own making.

First, let me begin with looking at the issue of equality of status, and the particular dimensions of respect and recognition. Technically, Americans, of whatever ethnicity, have equal status as citizens and as provided in our constitution.

The education of the blacks

However, it was and still is reported of issues of individual and institutional committing racialism – that is abuse and assault by individuals or the maintenance of structures, mechanisms, and processes, which disadvantaged and disadvantages the black. This racialism became a great impediment to the education of the blacks leading to their failure to get good jobs both white and blue color. For example, racially motivated attacks which were seen in several high-level places contributed to the blacks avoiding some schools because of fear. There are many examples of racially motivated killings in which their inquiries by the state were slow or reluctant and the failings of the police to respond effectively were just among racially motivated acts which contribute to the social injustice that led to the blacks failing to join and excel in schools.

In terms of equality of opportunities, for example in terms of opportunity of access to goods, services, and, in particular, welfare provision the situation was not better. Because of racialism, the market failed to deliver essential goods and services in an equitable and socially just manner. This was attributed to the fact that racialism was being used by a few to fail to deliver essential goods and services to the blacks. This contributed to the failure of black Americans from accessing school. It also affected the personality of the blacks leading to the creation of an attitude that made them not go to school where they will mix with other colored citizens. In addition, access to opportunities like good housing, education, the labor market social services, the health services was major begged on the color by some groups.

Faced with this lack of equality of status, opportunity, outcome, and respect and recognition, the black resorted to violence as a defense mechanism and physical sports as means of earning a living. Others pursued separatist strategy through the creation of autonomous organizations, faith schools, and separate welfare agencies such as sports clubs. Ironically, these did help much in solving this problem of inequality it further complicate the whole scenario.

There was another factor that leads the blacks from attending school was the inequality in giving credit facilities. The problem of limited access to social housing, mortgage finance, finance for business starting ensured the black remained in the same position as their fathers were and so on.

Conclusion

From the above-underlined discussion, we have seen that the blacks were unable to succeed not because they were half citizens but because of their position that did not guarantee them equality of status, opportunity, or outcomes because of the impact of racism and this was a wider struggle
