BleedingCats Entertainment is a highly efficient and specialized service provider in the area of event management with a focus on entertainment marketing. We have promoted the concerts of many well-known brands over the years. Our track record in management and strategy formulation in the area of concert management is enviable. We have also supported and encouraged many blossoming artists and helped them mature into leading brands of the country. The major success factors behind the concerts that we promoted are our efficient marketing strategies and our understanding of the pulses of the music industry. It is due to these advantages of our company that we were able to host and promote the concerts of many well-known brands.

This report is a marketing plan for the concert scheduled to be conducted on June 6, 2008, at the Kathedral in Toronto. The theme of the show is International Heavy Metal Day. Like the previous concerts, we marketed we would like to make this event also a concert to great success. For each new concert we promote, we strive hard to make it better than the previous one by innovating new marketing concepts. We recognize the significance of people’s attitude as also the band’s relevance in the market where they are to perform.

We decided on promoting a concert by Threat Signal which is one of the new and popular brands of the country after evaluating the pros and cons. We found that Threat Signal is the band that matches the theme of our concert which is International Heavy Metal Day. We are also very much impressed that Threat Signal has won many awards for excellence in various parameters in music.

Main body

This portion of the report deals with further details of the concert. The marketing plan is also enumerated here.

Venue details

The venue for the concert is Kathedral in Toronto. Cathedral is a very famous concert hall in Toronto, because of the excellent facilities inside it. “The Cathedral, located on the ground level, has a large stage for performances, an excellent dance floor, and an impressive sound system.” (Venue Profiles). The performance stage is very large and the performers will feel free on it due to its spaciousness. Moreover, it provides much leeway for interaction with the audience. Other features of Kathedral include the fact that it has around 24 channels, power of around 8300 watts, better lighting, and 2 monitor mixes. It can also accommodate a sufficient number of people. Further, the sound system in the hall is another specialty that makes it a hot favorite among the performers as well as the audience.

Modes of marketing

Our marketing plan for concerts since our initial stages has been highly result-oriented. This has helped us to effectively market the previous concerts. New troupes we approach for concerts definitely will be impressed with the previous trade record we possess: and usually, they show readiness in associating with us.

Advertising is the primary step in marketing the concert scheduled to be helped on June 6, 2008. We have already started the initial advertisements. At present BleedingCats started campaigning about the concert on local televisions and print media. The ads at this stage don’t reveal any information about the performers. This is a strategy that BleedingCats has introduced. We intend that these advertisements would make the people more eager to know the actual performers. The advertisements have the theme that the performers are distinguished. This method of advertisement will help the popularity to popularize the concert to a great extent as people have an inherent nature of keeping an interest in what is unknown.

The name of the concert will be announced once this report is approved, and ticket selling will commence on the same day itself. After this, we will release posters about the concert. The posters will be supplied as additional sheets in the newspapers and through major shops and other outlets in which the customers will be supplied the posters along with the goods delivered to them. Web banners are placed on almost all popular websites and search engines. We have also arrived at a consensus with some of the famous retail shops in the region for advertisement. As per the agreement, the details of the advertisement along with attractive pictures of the band will be printed on carrying bags and other packing materials.

Conclusion

The marketing plan for the concert is highly effective and will fetch better results. BleedingCats Entertainment, with its specialized ability in the area of entertainment marketing over years, will help to make this upcoming event a very successful one. Our expertise in concert marketing and the advertisement methods adopted by our company will go a long way providing wide popularity to the event.
