The given study focuses on the topic of environmental health and its effect on current social well-being. The main research question aims to analyze how the growing rate of chronic diseases should be handled by various authorities and institutions. The researchers suggest a highly inclusive conceptual framework, which allows both people and public health specialists to cooperate by integrating cross-disciplinary approach. The purpose of the paper is to overview and discuss the processes of environmental decision-making regarding the population’s health burden from chronic illnesses. The given study mostly utilizes quantitative methods, but it also implements the data from qualitative information. The independent variables are manifested in a number of chronic diseases, which are increasing to a substantial degree (Koehler et al., 2018). Dependent variables are the epidemiological procedures aimed to specifically target a certain public health issue, such as cancer, cardiovascular problems, and asthma (Koehler et al., 2018). The study does not possess clearly defined cofounding variables due to the suggestive nature of the paper. However, they can be represented in the concept of a public health approach framework, which summates and combines chronic illnesses and environmental policies.

The given study is an outstanding analysis of the step-by-step process of increasing public health awareness. Thus, my future research question might be focused on identifying the practical limitations of their recommendation framework by overviewing its consequences of integration. My hypothesis may target the effectiveness of the authors’ cross-disciplinary approach because it can lead to inefficiencies due to the complexity and numerous approvals. In addition, I would research the legislative loopholes that allow private research groups to alter the result because the majority of these entities undergo ethics review process (Patten, 2018). Therefore, the primary purpose of my study would aim to improve and develop the current public health frameworks by outlining their disadvantages and suggesting health care institutions new and effective methodologies.
