Introduction

Carlos Fuentes is well-known person in the world for his eminent work in the sphere of literature, diplomatic relations, and political reforms. Too energetic and devoted to his destination to move the society toward the flow of radical change, he thought of a great destiny of Mexico. His life is straightforwardly concerned with Mexican culture and tradition.He identified himself strictly as a Mexican. It is so due to his desire to speak about peoples’ identity and roots of the genealogical tree. Moreover, the spirit of Spanish-speaking people who live in Mexico is also outlined in the artistic works by Fuentes. In this respect the paper is dedicated to the description of time line of Carlos Fuentes in its picturesque and interesting shaping.

Description

Carlos Fuentes was born in Panama City in 1928. His parents were diplomats and in this respect Carlos visit many countries and ci9ties of the South and North America. The childhood of the would-be writer was too interesting due to his constant removals with parents. Furthermore, little Fuentes showed his many faceted ability in many human sciences and in social communication with peers and people surrounding him. In the age of four Carlos learnt English when being in Washington DC (Booksfactory para. 3). Moreover, he was apt in studying and desired to gain as more knowledge as it was possible at that time. This is why his parents sent him to prestigious Colegio de México, and afterwards he entered the School of Law at the National University of Mexico, and Institut des Hautes Études Internationales in Geneva (Booksfactory para. 3). The end of 1940s was a culmination for Carlos Fuentes, as the person of great nobility and great knowledge, so that to move the society in the flow of his talent.

In his university years Fuentes impressed everyone in his surrounding by the brilliant assumptions as of the societal formation in Mexico and even the urge for the Communist ideals. His arguments led him to joining to the Communist party (Libyrinth para. 3). Since the early 1950s Fuentes begins his literary career in the review Revista Mexicana de Literatura (1954); then the world got acquainted with Los días emmascarados (1954) La región más transparente (1958) Las Buenas Conciencias (The Good Conscience) (1959) (Booksfactory para. 11-12). His literary works were also his reflection on the political and social changes which were apparent in Mexico and Spain in the mid-twentieth century. In this decade of his life Fuentes married Rita Macedo, an outstanding Mexican actress, and lives with her 14 years from 1959 till 1973 (Booksfactory para. 5). Notwithstanding his family life troubles, he brought up three children and had great political careers. His ability in novel writing put force on the Mexican Modernist and post-Modernist literature reality. He drove in his 40 years the cultural approach through the difficulties of societal mismatches.

Present day occupation

Being Mexico’s ambassador to France in 1975-77, he maintains relations with English and American colleagues in the diplomatic corpus (Libyrinth para. 1). He was a prominent lecturer in many institutes around the world and tried to do his best in gaining experience of previous years and of current trends in literature and social relationships. Fuentes’ major works are: Where the Air is Clearer (1958); The Death of Artemio Cruz (1962); A Change of Skin (1967); Terra Nostra (1975); The Hydra Head (1978); The Old Gringo (1985); and The Campaign (1990) (Libyrinth para. 1). Today Fuentes writes and composes many essays on the Spanish theme in political and economical dimensions and American culture influence all over the world in such newspapers as El País and Reforma (Booksfactory para. 23).
