My supervisor’s educational record reveals that he received his diploma from Kula No Na Po’e, where he had been enrolled as a practicum student. Additionally, he was a practicum student at the Maunalani Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where he received his training. My manager spent the year 2018 working for free in the community as part of a Community Worker volunteer program. 2019 marked the beginning of my employment as a CCH Program Assistant at Hawaii Helping Hands, where I will remain until 2021. I have taken a position as a Social Services Designee at Liliha Healthcare. After some time passed, he returned to Hawaii Helping Hand to work as an AAF Office Clerk. At the moment, he is working at Hawaii Helping Hand as the program coordinator, which is a position that falls within the purview of the Community Clearinghouse (CCH).

Key Duties
- Coordinating daily running in the CCH warehouse, including but not limited to processing CCH applications, responding to inquiries from financiers, clientele, and partner agencies, and scheduling donation pickups and client appointments.

My Work and Experience as a Practicum at Hawaii Helping Hands
As a practicum student at Helping Hands Hawaii, I was involved in various activities and used multiple skills. The primary duties of my role included assisting low-income clients with the Emergency Assistance Program (EAP) and helping them with their applications, appointments, and programs (HHHadmin, 2022). I was also involved in helping with the donation warehouse for the “Adopt a Family” program and organizing a holiday event to collect donations for families during the Christmas holidays.
In my role at Helping Hands Hawaii, I developed many skills, such as working with clients over the phone and inputting their data into the computer. I also learned how to process applications, send denial letters, and file paperwork. I also developed an understanding of the various software used within the agency and how to interact with clients with issues and concerns regarding their low-income status. Through my work at Helping Hands Hawaii, I learned the importance of working as a team and how to find resources to help the agency out. My discoveries and problems taught me the importance of staying organized and on top of my learning skills.
Feelings
My feelings towards Helping Hands Hawaii are positive. I greatly appreciate the hard work and dedication of the agency staff and their commitment to providing quality services to the community. I also respect the agency’s goal of empowering individuals, families, and communities to reach their fullest potential. My supervisor was helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. I enjoyed interacting with them and providing the assistance they needed. It was also a great learning experience to understand their challenges and the resources available. My experiences at Helping Hands Hawaii were both positive and challenging. I learned how to work with clients, process applications, and use various software. I also gained an understanding of the issues faced by low-income individuals and the resources available to them. I was grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the team and learn so much in such a short time.
Conclusion
Overall, my experience at Helping Hands Hawaii was a positive one. I gained valuable skills and an understanding of the challenges faced by individuals in need and the available resources. I was grateful for the help and support of my supervisor and the other agency staff. I am proud to have been a part of the team and contributed to the agency’s success and mission.
