The Technology department at a medical facility is the intended audience for this flyer. The specialists in the department can follow the instructions presented to create a simple robot that will help with drug distribution. This demographic has a firm grasp of the key concepts and vocabulary presented in the flyer. It is simple for them to make connections to the information and create a functional robot by following the guidelines.
Developing the appropriate concept and layout for the flyer was not simple. I aimed to have an approachable theme and a straightforward design that would engage my audience. At the same time, I intended the brochure to be efficient in conveying the message I wanted to share. Last but not least, condensing the entirety of the material into information that is clear, concise, and easy to understand was not an easy task.
When I started working on the flyer, one of the most difficult challenges I faced was merging different caricature graphics in a way that didn’t compromise the overall quality of the brochure. I was required to follow the criteria provided by Prasetya and colleagues (2020) to guarantee that the visual accurately reflected the information. Consequently, the developed flyer looked credible and attractive to the people I intended to reach.
Examining my past works in progress would allow me to enhance my writing skills. I can improve my writing skills by actively seeking feedback from my peers and inquiring about their thoughts on my writing style. I intend to put in the time and effort required to research and profile my target demographic thoroughly. After determining what obstacles would prevent my message from reaching its intended audience, I would work to remove them.
This introspection has shed light on one of my most fundamental goals, to connect with and convince my audience. If I want my communication to be as effective as possible, I need to understand better the people I am trying to reach. As a result, whenever I put my thoughts down on paper, I will keep my audience in mind and make a concerted effort to ensure that they understand what I mean.
