A team of several generations is a good phenomenon for IS, and a group of such a wide age range has its advantages. This personnel actively cooperates and interacts, synthesizing past learnings with new innovations. Grown-ups and younger generations can develop creative ideas and revolutionary solutions. In this case, it is worth mentioning the transfer of valuable experience from an older generation to a more youthful one, as well as the trend of “reverse mentoring,” which involves the work of mature employees paired with younger ones. In other words, the more people of different ages interact, the more they will be able to understand each other and learn valuable lessons.

However, if IS uses the concepts of each generation, it may have benefits in having a workforce ready for the future. Nevertheless, one should remember that the problems of such a team may lie in the fact that it can be difficult for people whose ages differ significantly to understand each other and build normal working relationships. Sometimes, there are contradictory expectations about employees, and ageist stereotypes and discrimination can manifest themselves in a team.

To increase the efficiency and productivity of employees, baby boomers can teach their younger colleagues optimism, determination, hard work, teamwork, striving for personal growth, and active career building. Consequently, from Generation X, one can learn readiness for change, pragmatism, informal views on work, the desire for equality between men and women, awareness and technical literacy, responsibility, independence, and more. Finally, one can learn from millennials (generation Y) quick learning and thirst for knowledge, flexibility, rapid adaptation to new conditions, tolerance, and individualism.

During the job search, I discovered that due to the websites, one could save time and quickly find vacancies of interest in a particular region. It is enough to enter the name of the position in the appropriate line and select other parameters based on experience or work format. I recommend a future applicant strictly approach the competent design of a resume since this can demonstrate not only the professional but also the personal qualities of a person.
