Introduction
One aspect of culture and diversity is race, whereby most of the leadership positions at Sun City are occupied by white males. One example of the artifact to promote organizational culture and diversity is role modeling which escalates employee morale and ensures improved teamwork. The other two examples of artifacts include corporate logos and slogans (mission statements) that enable the executive team to hire people from different backgrounds. The core values to be adopted are inclusivity, equality, and accountability, as the company’s core assumption is that new workers should come from the surrounding community. Diversity has pragmatic and positive effects on organizational productivity and performance.

I want to inform you that your organization, Sun City, must embrace diversity due to various business issues based on the current scenario. Notably, the corporate utilizes traditional recruitment approaches, whereby the employer does not consider establishing a diversified workplace (Lee). In addition, the organization employs friends and local people without advertising for job opportunities, which blocks qualified applicants from diversified backgrounds from joining the firm.
By embracing diversity in the organization, you will encounter considerable merits, including enhancing the venture’s reputation and offering exposure to new trends. From my workplace experience, diversity improves the company’s image by representing different communities, making the firm more dynamic, and enabling workers to share ideas as they have varied skills. Since the clients feel represented when they meet employees from their society, they purchase more products, resulting in high revenue generation.
Since the company is changing, evaluating the board’s diversity is essential to enable them to effectively transform and execute leadership roles. Various methods can be applied to evaluate workplace diversity, such as monitoring shared corporate values, reviewing recruitment practices, examining worker initiatives, and listening to people’s perspectives (Jaiswal et al. 7). The assessment findings indicate hiring people from diverse backgrounds increases revenue and brand loyalty.
Conclusion
Sun City management has embraced traditional recruitment methods, leading to hiring friends and local people without considering the issue of diversity. However, since the organization is in the change mode, it should embrace diversity to ensure it employs workers from different backgrounds to enable sharing of ideas among subordinates. Therefore, the company will record increased revenue and improved reputation since the customers will be happy recognizing employees from their community.
