The Dubai World Expo was notable for its tribute to modern technology, and a lot of effort was put into creating the right atmosphere. EXPO Dubai is an opportunity to attend an event of global scale. Scale, quality, money spent, special effects, organization – all this left an indelible mark on my soul. Music sounded from everywhere, there were many performances on the street or near the pavilions of countries, as well as a fountain with a fire show, and the huge tent was amazing, the main performances and shows were under it.
The magnificence and efforts of the country lies in the fact that the internal exhibitions were devoted to the history and achievements of these countries in recent years. For example, the UAE pavilion, designed by architect Santiago Calatrava, resembles the wings of a falcon, the national symbol of the country, with its outlines. Nowhere else, at least at the present time, you will not be able to see many expositions that tell about the history, culture, traditions, achievements of most countries of the world. This exhibition is the largest event, where the territory of the event is the whole city.
I got a unique experience of communicating with people from other cultural backgrounds. Moreover, a rich cultural and entertainment program was present at the exhibition. Many activities will be held on the territory of the complex every day. In addition, I got an amazing opportunity to get to know the musical culture of different countries. I visited the Expo Beats festival, dedicated to the music of the peoples of the world. On weekends, Late Nights hosted musicians from various genres, while the Jalsat show provided a chance to listen to traditional Arabic tunes.
EXPO is a chance to travel around all the countries of the planet, learn about culture, art, technology, achievements, participate in interactive events, communicate with the inhabitants of these countries (for example, we had a very interesting conversation with people from Europe). Moreover, what is important for tourists there could try to taste the national cuisine. This is not a popularized distorted food, but authentic dishes prepared by the best chefs of these countries from the corresponding products. In a Kazakh restaurant, the chef is a former personal chef of the First President of Kazakhstan, and his cuisine is truly amazing.
