Being content with one’s job is one of the core requirements for a happy and fulfilling professional life. Although the concept of happiness and fulfillment in the workplace setting might seem a bit idealistic, it is, in fact, critical for maintaining the level of performance high (Caprino, 2018). Considering the insights into the current level of job satisfaction and fulfilment that the test results have provided will allow me to keep the extent of my performance impeccable while also seeking opportunities for professional growth.
Working currently as an Executive Commercial Manager for a steel manufacturing company, I feel quite happy about my job. Specifically, I find a lot of joy in my work, even though it might not seem as particularly exciting to aside observer. Specifically, at my workplace, I have multiple motivator factors and vertical loading factors, as well as a substantial amount of skill variety, which allows me to feel that I am quickly developing professionally (Buchanan and Huczynski, 2019).
Considering the factors that contribute to my fulfilment to the greatest extent, I should mention the high level of task significance. The feeling of performing an important task from which a range of other people will benefit and that will lead to a major improvement in the quality of other people’s lives makes my job particularly rewarding. Regarding fulfilment, II must admit that the system could use some improvements; specifically, the lack of autonomy is what irritates me most about my job. Overall, my case proves that, seeking job satisfaction and fulfilment can be seen as an important part of promoting employee engagement and encouraging staff members to develop loyalty toward their company.
