The role of computer games in contemporary society goes beyond entertainment. They can be used to facilitate education and in curing some of the mental issues. My idea of a game is related to both leisure and development of orientation skills. It can be labelled as a survival simulator but one that is distinct from the existing games on the market. The majority of such games have primitive graphics, which makes them unsuitable for learning to navigate through the woods and challenging environments. My game, on the other hand, will feature realistic graphics that accurately render trees, terrain, and other elements. Movement, dislocation, and travelling of animals will be based on scientific models of how animals behave in natural conditions. Gameplay will be based on the first-person view, and the player will have the ability to explore an open world.
Besides generic movements, such as walking, running, climbing, sitting, and lying, the core mechanics will include the ability to make tools from stone, such as cutting equipment, and cut trees. Out of such resources, the player will be able to construct more complicated items, such as a bow, which allows the player to hunt animals. Pieces of wood can be used to make a fire. Actions that can be executed by the player will largely depend on the items themselves. For instance, while it is possible to break a piece of wood, it does not make sense to break fruits. Instead, actions in regard to fruits and vegetables will include eating raw, washing, and cooking in fire. The goal is to make the game as realistic as possible while sacrificing disk space and increasing graphics card and processor requirements. The primary aim of the player is to find a way to exit the forest with the least amount of damage to their well-being. There is going to be a multiplayer mode, which will allow several players to help each other survive.
