This policy is being formulated and is focused on establishing health security at international level. The mission of the policy involves taking security to other countries such as Afghanistan to tackle security matters at their exact sources
Objectives of the current healthcare policy:
- To take care of the victims of security breach internationaly
Currently there is increased level of insecurity around the would. The policy is aimed at reaching out to the people who are suffring and providing them with the necessary help medically. War torn areas such as Afghanistan and Somalia are some of the main targets of the current healthcare policy (Purple, 2007).
- To provide counselling to the victims of inscurity
Insecure regions which experience a lot of fighting and killing have got people who are always likely to give up in life. Most of the loose their relatives or are seriously injured. It is therefore necessary that such kinds of individuaals are fully counselled so that they come back to normal life. Giving them assurance that they are still important can help them move on with their lives are recover quickly from the injuries (Coleman, 2009).
Research study
Human life is important and therefore ways of guarding it need to be formulated to ensure that human health is secure. The important thing is to secure a public health realm. A study will be carried out to determine the importance of securing public health realm (DIGISTATS, 2007).
Hypothesis
- To find out the importance of the human health
- To determine ways of improving human health in areas which are insecure (war-torn areas)
- To establish measures that can be put in place to ensure that human health is fully protected from any form of disease attack
- To provide adequate social counselling to victims of violence and war
- To offer basic needs to victims of war such as food and clothing.
Methodology
Methodology refers to the steps and procedures that will be used to get tangible information concerning the topic of study.
Questionnaires
Questions will be written on papers and presented to the people in insecure regions to establish the importance of the application of the policy. The questions will be open-ended to enable the respondents to be in position to express themselves.
Interviewing
This will involve asking the targeted group about the subject in question. The respondents will provide immediate answers. This method is advantageous because first hand information will be received.
Policies that may advance or inhibit the undertaking:
- Restricted movement experienced in the boarders of different countries may hinder access to areas that are prone to insecurity. The proposal may therefore fail to be implemented according to the expectations.
- The presence of international organizations can help in advancing the work. Collaboration with such bodies can bring about prosperity (CDC, 2008).
