Public policies should address the gap between the rich and the poor because political discontentment may cause instability that may hinder the growth of peace and unity in a given state. Chaos commonly develops as a result of economic disparities in contributions that people make to the government in terms of taxes. Wealth inequalities between people create a socio-economic gap that brings about social exclusion. Decisions are, therefore, made based on what somebody possesses rather than the content of the idea they may share to improve a situation.

This alienates the poor more negatively and rallies them to form a resistance against the rich. The dissatisfaction in the poor may lead to political instability because the poor may start raising demands that subsidies be set in place for essential commodities and that they are considered in making decisions that involve them directly.

Chaos develops as a result, and many people rebel against government bureaucracy (Singh and Mohamed 971). There can be wars among the government departments on the allocation of resources as well as wars emanating from the opposition parties. This ends up causing more tension to the political atmosphere. Public policies should, therefore, be put in place to address these issues in a more detailed manner to come with ways of mitigating them (Raphael 37).

Crime

Poverty puts restrictions on the potential human access to education, employment, and other virtues that are considered human-deserving. To be able to achieve all these, some measures have to be followed and activities that have to be done to make ends meet by both the poor and the rich. The wealthiest in the society have access to most of the life remedies that may not be easily acquired by the poor. As a result, the poor retaliates by getting access to the same through illegal means that leads to acts of crime. Many people die as a result, and others get injured in the process.

Having set out education system that promotes societal education about the importance of being socially responsible is an important invention that should be encouraged (Raphael 197). The policies set should address the gap between the rich and the poor in the society while giving more emphasis on the importance of general social gain of living life in unity. It is also through these policies that the poor who do not have access to adequate education can be taught about the harm that drug abuse causes to our health, effects of robbery and murder among other factors.

Culture Plummets

National policies teach about the importance of living a positive life by accepting and upholding unique human cultures. However, class difference puts humans into different sets; hence, causing the divide that in turn, make traditional concepts to deteriorate. Unifying factors disappear, and immoral activities take center stage. Families brake and children access to essential commodities and education is deprived of making possible intellectual capacity to decline. As the children grow up, they become capable of doing less technological-based works hence reducing their ability to exploit their potentials in other fields.

Children in well-off families are able to access quality education hence can handle more confiscated jobs. The class difference increases even further as a result. Policies that provide basic need, if put in place, can help in mitigating all these factors faster so that harmony is experienced in the allocation of resources and as a result, the socio-economic divide can be reduced as far as possible.

Globalization

Globalization of the world economy into a village market has brought significant impact to the socio-economic development of many countries. Many businesses have been moved to countries where there is cheap labor and to areas where outsourcing can be done easily. Many agencies and business organizations go beyond their country to attract and search for skilled labor that is paid well to promote growth.

However, the local unskilled labor is paid less despite the poor working conditions that make their lives more vulnerable to health issues. This leads to increased variation in wealth possession between the rich and the poor in society. Set out policies can be used to mitigate the education systems and have a positive social impact on society.

Globalization has also given the top talents ability to attract the highest compensation in the world. For example, musicians, footballers, and even comedians earn more income than employees in other fields. There is also a reduction in government incentive programs that are making life even harder for the low income earning persons (Raphael 37). These people cannot be able to pay for the incentives and adequately remain with some saving for the daily living expenses for their families together with other services for their young ones such as proper education. The rich can save their wealth in interest-earning accounts from which their wealth increases.

On the other hand, the poor hardly have even enough amount of money to make ends meet (Raphael 35). The wealthiest in the society, therefore, get wealthier and the poor get poorer. Discussing these issues through well-stipulated policies will do more good than harm.

Health

Besides, globalization may help the nation start thinking about health concerns of its citizens. Service delivery may hence improve in the process so that irrespective of the social class that one is in one would be able to get good medication. Increasing societal capital can help in mitigating inequality in the distribution of capital. They may also foster better working conditions and improve societal help for families that cannot adequately support their children and in turn, improve the physical environment.

Access to quality health increases with increased income, but declines as income diminish. Safety measures should be put in place so that crime rates are minimized and injuries reduced in society. Security is, therefore, essential in society and for people to live a harmonious life, they should be assured of their security.

The community members should be involved directly in the operations of the government and other community concerns so that their demands are adhered to and that they participate in selecting the leaders who they want by voting. In deciding on the rent to be charged, it should be done while considering the earning potential of that particular citizen population so that they are not charged excessively. This can enable them to have quality housing that may improve their health (Raphael 198).

Digital Divide

Societal development moves hand in hand with the usage of technology and ICT applications. There is exclusion that exists between those who can readily access the internet information at their own convenience and those who can hardly access it. Reasons for inability to access the information digitally may be social factors, education, generation factors, and even disability. These factors may arise from social assumptions made to actual failure of the government in equal distribution of resources.

People in urban settlements may have an advantage over internet application than those in aboriginal families. A government that has positive policy directions and bodies that provide check on its operations towards equitable distribution of services can help in highlighting these problems so that they can be dealt with appropriately.

In aboriginal families, promoting awareness through education of the public can enhance adoption and usage of internet and internet infrastructures by improving attitudinal barriers, skills, and support and enabling physical access in marginalized areas (Rowena 312). They may also foster education so that poorer families are encouraged to take careers in information technology.

The government should, therefore, work hand in hand with public policy enforcers so that transparency in operations of the government is equally felt by the less privileged members of the society. The government should promote technology investments by enhancing longer technology infrastructure in rural areas. It is through public policies that trust and societal solidarity can be retained. Programs that support unity and togetherness should be encouraged so that there is full participation in societal activities by all. Unions should also be given the power to act on behalf of its members so that better wages can be argued to improve the earning capacity of employees.
