Political Climate Related to Hayman-Woodward
The Hayman-Woodward company is devoted to solving legal problems and helping individuals or whole organizations on the international or local levels (Transforming mobility, enabling global citizens n.d.). As far as the company provides different taxes, insurance, and other legal services, the political climate in the country affects its activities. The political party ruling at the particular period sets the particular legislation regulations that the company has to comply with. Moreover, Hayman-Woodward deals with migration issues which are also highly influenced by the USA’s relationships with other countries. Therefore, the company functioning is directly correlated with the political climate. Today it is complicated by the COVID-19 situation and political difficulties caused by the virus. The work of this organization is directed by political changes due to its legal orientation.
What or who is the biggest obstacle for their issue – why?
The main obstacle to the aim Hayman-Woodward strives for is the legislation and lawmakers. Seeking the maximum benefits, the bureaucracy, by any means, tries to postpone the costly amendments. However, the pandemic opened various opportunities for the company how to overcome the bureaucracy in legislation. For example, the recent discussion considering paid family leave proves that the lawmakers in the face of the life-threatening virus, have to modify the citizens-oriented amendments. Even though the paid family leave issue was debated starting from the Medical Leave Act of 1993, the government did not take any action (Konish, 2021). However, COVID-19 highlighted this issue, thereby showing the legislation potentially opened opportunities for such companies as Hayman-Woodward.
