Hemorrhagic stroke is a severe circulatory disorder that ruptures an artery and damages brain tissue. In a broad sense, it means a group of diseases accompanied by cerebral hemorrhage (Unnithanet al., 2022). At first, a pathological process develops: cholesterol plaques and blood clots form in the lumen of the vessels. Because of this, the vessels become thin and lose their natural elasticity. Thrombi lead to the emergence and progression of an aneurysm, due to which the vessel wall is wholly torn, leading to internal hemorrhage. This is a very complex and imperceptible process, so it requires a detailed consideration of its components.

This disease is hazardous, so it is worth knowing its risk factors. At high risk of hemorrhagic stroke are people suffering from hypertension and patients with congenital or acquired aneurysms (Unnithanet al., 2022). In addition, males are prone to hemorrhagic stroke when it comes to the age of over 70 years. Hyperlipidemia and diabetes mellitus, with increasing age and nicotine abuse, can also cause a stroke.

After a stroke, the patient must begin a recovery period, and care is essential here. A nurse needs to adhere to strict rules. The nurse should maintain a flowchart during the acute phase to obtain data on critical clinical indicators. Such indicators are a change in the level of consciousness, voluntary movements of the limbs, stiffness of the neck, pupillary response to light, skin temperature, and moisture content (Unnithanet al., 2022).

In addition to physical indicators, the patient’s mental status is also essential. Here the nurse should pay attention to sensation and perception, memory, orientation, and speech. Also important is motor control, the nurse should check the movements of the upper and lower extremities, the swallowing reflex, body hydration, and bowel and bladder functions. To prevent cases of hemorrhagic stroke, doctors and nurses should raise people’s awareness of this disease and its causes. Patient education regarding hemorrhagic stroke is essential to preventing the disease since many factors that a person influences lead to a stroke.

In conclusion, in the prevention of Hemorrhagic stroke, an important part is the elimination of its causes, which are described in the risk factors. This will help significantly reduce the number of people susceptible to this disease worldwide. However, if a person has already experienced a stroke, the care of nurses is a crucial factor in his recovery.
