The author achieved his goals by assuming that titles are not that crucial, and people are the most valuable resource of a company. Most of the evidence relates to the personal value of team members and channels of communication (Maxwell, 2013).

On the other hand, the description of the production stage is one of the least convincing in the whole book. Very little information is given out by Maxwell on the topic of how a proficient leader should deal with the stresses and complications of managing a team and accomplishing goals (Maxwell, 2013). The book also barely touches the subject of interpersonal relations within a team. “How Successful People Lead” is rather useful as it provides a thorough interpretation of the process of developing a leadership style and encouraging others to achieve leadership roles. I believe that this particular book relates very closely to my personal and working lives.
By virtue of this book, I became the employee of the month, got a raise in salary, and learned how to improve my performance significantly. As for my personal life, I became more cognizant of how I should behave in different situations and learned how to take the lead and guide people. I believe that one should take on the journey reflected in the book and go through all of the five stages on the road to being a fluent leader.
Both personal and working environments represent us as members of a team, an organism that would only function when all of its components are set up correctly. I also think that this book complies with my culture, as the highest level of leadership presupposes, according to Maxwell, the mutual respect which is highly praised in the United Arab Emirates. This asset forms a legacy in the interior of an Arabian company.

I would rate this book 9/10 for the reason that it lacks several crucial points that should be mentioned when talking about leadership. Notwithstanding, it is a very well-composed and consistent book. I recommend this book to all the readers as it is written in a comprehensible language and provides five comparatively easy steps to leadership mastery.
