In my opinion, the six-dimensional approach to human culture could be considered a shallow estimation of depth in a realm of ubiquitous nature and details. Therefore, modeling an entire culture in the dimensions of power distance, individualism, masculinity, uncertainty avoidance, long-term orientation, and indulgence is inappropriate. Culture encompasses various distinctive spheres such as history, context, education, music, art, and communication. Culture equals every human invention because it reflects their ideals and views and disseminates them across multiple channels.

The six dimensions do not reflect the details of American mannerisms and greeting norms that reflect the culture in the attitude of people. Hofstede’s model of analysis is limited in scope and merely. It is possible to consider such aspects of culture as gender egalitarianism, performance, and humane orientation. Gender egalitarianism suggests that people of all genders should have equal chances, rights, and responsibilities. This aspect is more in-depth in contrast to masculinity mentioned in Hofstede’s (2021) analysis which incorporates the competitiveness of the nation. Performance refers to how well superior performance, high standards, and innovation are recognized and rewarded. European and American countries, for example, have a strong performance emphasis and tend to invest more in staff training. On the other side, human orientation refers to how much a society values and promotes traits like justice, generosity, and compassion.

Culture is more complex than the similarity of traits within the group of people reviewed as metadata. It is a general phrase that includes many facets of a way of life, including customs, beliefs, art, skills, and laws. Academics struggle to provide a concrete definition of what culture is due to the enormous size of details that fall under the term culture. However, it remains essential for the term to be an abstract entity and preserve its intrinsic beauty.
