The overall impression of the Human Resources Management profession
I initially had little knowledge of this profession. I have later on learned that this is not only an administrative appointment, but it also includes planning, strategizing as well as a good understanding of an organization one is working in. I have also learned the roles played by the human resource department towards the success of any organization. I have been in a position to vividly understand how proper recruitment, employee training, proper remunerations as well as a healthy working environment, and employee relations contribute towards organizational goals achievement.
The most and least enjoyed components of HR management
The most enjoyed aspects of this course were entrepreneurial studies since we learned how to identify and create employment opportunities and finding the best individuals for the same jobs. I found it the least interesting studies regarding labor unions. I understand the significance they play, but they have become scrupulous, exploiting the beneficiaries. This limited my interest in knowing much about them.
