Introduction

The Royal Bank of Canada reaches out to many people around the world. Corporate ethics must be strongly developed in a company with so many people and such coverage of countries. This helps multinational companies better manage by creating the same behavior framework for all employees.

Discussion

At the same time, there is a connection between the company’s ethics and its social responsibility since the clients of the organization need to understand the organization’s position on various social issues (Ferrell et al., 2019). This aspect dramatically adds to the complexity of managing a multinational company because the bank must take into account any social changes in any country. Otherwise, an unpleasant situation may occur in relation to the bank’s customers or employees.

As Angela wrote, David McKay, the head of the bank, models ethical behavior through transformational leadership. This is an excellent approach to managing such an organization. According to Garcia (2019), transformational leadership promotes innovation in a company because it helps generate new ideas. This is important in managing a multinational company because it provides all employees with interest and a sense of worth. Keller (2006) also argues that transformational leadership inspires people to achieve unexpected or remarkable results. This is consistent with the ethical standards that should be developed in the company because it cheers up people, and they quickly follow the instructions of their superiors.

Conclusion

All these factors together show that this management method is one of the best for multinational organizations. In addition, it is even more critical for an organization that manages the finances of many people around the world because they are responsible for the contributions of people, so there is no room for error. It is the main task of a leader in a subsidiary company to provide employees and customers with the best possible treatment.
