Every society is comprised of different groups of people with their unique characteristics. There are different activities that take place in societies on a daily basis; hence people are found in different places. Every activity in any society involves interaction among different people because without them, there is no society. Similarly, people are found in all set ups in the society whether libraries, gyms, work places or public places. The people found in all these places have differing characteristics; hence they are classified into specific categories.
A mall is a large shopping center that is comprised of different types of businesses. Since people have various needs that have to be fulfilled in order for life to be complete, malls are characterized by large numbers of different people who visit the premises with various needs. The first type of people in a mall is the workers. A mall is comprised of different stores, businesses and restaurants which are enclosed in one building.
The different business enterprises are operated by different people; hence the number of workers in a mall is large. The workers range from business entrepreneurs, restaurant attendants, attendants of stores and other people who run different businesses. The workers in a mall have the responsibility to provide various services which are required by people who visit the premises.
For example, a person who visits the mall to purchase certain goods is attended to by the shop attendants while another person who visits the premises to eat is served by the restaurant attendants. The workers are, therefore, an important group of people in a mall
The workers of the mall are a mixture of both males and females. Most of the female workers are concerned with customer service issues such as directing customers where to get particular services and responding to their queries. Some few female workers also perform the roles of cashiers. On the other hand, most male workers are involved with administrative work and ensuring that all ordered goods are supplied in good time.
Both male and female workers interact freely and cooperate in their work. Whenever the female workers encounter challenges in their duties, they always seek help from the male workers who assist them. Apart from the regular workers in the mall, there are other workers who are contracted on casual terms to perform some odd jobs. Such workers include the cleaners and people who offload goods from vehicles.
Another group of people in a mall are the customers. Any business transaction is comprised of two parties, the business operators and customers. Without the customers, business enterprises cannot exist. The customers are grouped into those who belong to the young age, the teenagers, and adults.
The majority of young customers do not visit the mall on their own but are instead accompanied by their parents or elder people who assist them to get what they want. The teenagers and adults shop on their own. The customers are further grouped into regular and occasional customers.
Regular customers are the ones who visit the mall on a regular basis to do their shopping. For example, some visit the mall daily or after every two days. Occasional customers are the ones who visit the mall occasionally. For example, some visit the mall to do their shopping after every two weeks or once in a month.
A mall is a large shopping center that is comprised of different businesses in place. It is characterized by different groups of people like workers and customers. The workers are a mixture of both male and females. The customers include, young children, teenagers and adults. It can therefore be said that a mall is comprised of all types of people.
