Abstract
The paper below will cover various issues of the medicolegal death investigation system in the United States of America. This work will discuss all the requirements that every death investigator is obliged to follow. Finally, some duties and responsibilities of the system’s workers will also be provided in the text.
Introduction
The American system of medicolegal death investigation remains an essential organization, which is obligated to study and seek methods of various people’s death occasions. Although this department is not very popular, its workers must cope with corpses every day and night in order to reduce the cases of multiple murders to the minimum. The following research plan will cover particular aspects and requirements for people who are involved in multiple death investigations.
Overview
The system of medicolegal death investigations is expected to identify, verify, and certify various lethal cases, which might be caused by unexpected situations or unpredictable phenomena. Indeed, many instances are tough to solve due to the awkward bodies’ conditions (Harris, 2017). However, other deaths that were precisely investigated become very instrumental for the country’s police departments, which have enough power to arrest malicious murderers.
Unfortunately, there are a plethora of issues that lower the quality of particular death investigations in the USA. For instance, this organization has a lack of professional, skilled, and sophisticated workers because the majority of citizens who graduate from colleges seek prestigious jobs, whereas death investigation causes many stresses (Satish, Shivaramu, Kumar, & Kumar, 2017). Furthermore, the American government does not provide enough financial support to this sphere due to the lack of ambitious people in it. Another issue that remains crucial in the death investigation system is its unpreparedness to face the country’s constantly growing demands, which refer to the criminal justice the country’s healthcare system.
Hypothesis
This paragraph is intended to provide my personal prediction statement, which addresses the aforementioned issues and includes my working solution to the present problems in the country’s death investigation system. However, the government of the United States of America should consider increasing its financial support to this sphere because this particular problem remains one of the most significant disadvantages of this system (Worrall, 2015).
This solution will provide all investigators and their assistants with higher wages and might have an impact on young specialists’ career choices, which will also increase the number of employees. Moreover, it would be proper to provide people who are involved in the death investigation activity with the moral help of psychologists in order to avoid and prevent stresses.
Another hypothesis about improving and raising the productivity of death investigations all over the country lies in strict control of competent people who occupy leading positions in the system of death investigations (Worrall, 2015). Moreover, their qualification levels should always increase because many death cases remain unsolved due to the workers’ incompetence in a plethora of instances. Moreover, the facilities, which are expected to be used for multiple activities and practices of investigators, should be improved because some equipment might not be accurate and reliable anymore (Hanzlick, 2017).
It is evident that such factor might influence the efficiency and timeliness of professionals’ work. Therefore, my working solution of additional financing and certifying only competent and professional workers will solve the problem by attracting young personnel to this occupation. However, the working solution might evolve through the continued research and analysis.
Measurement and Analysis Approach
The key points that will be addressed in this research are exploring the background information about the death investigation system in the United States of America (Drake, Harper, & Wolf, 2016). Moreover, it would be advantageous to be aware of its historical origins, examination systems, the variability of this system, and major problems, some of which were already mentioned above (Lunn, 2017). The data for this research will be gathered with the help of credible sources that might be accessed in different online libraries, official databases of the death investigation system, and other articles by notable scholars who cover this topic. Moreover, some resources for this research will contain crime statistics and particular technology information in order to address the given issues.
Applicable Resources
All applicable resources that might be useful for this research will be listed on a reference list below. The main idea, which unites all the scholarly resources and might be used as a part of this research later, lies in discovering and considering newer and more efficient methods of death investigations. However, these methods cannot be implemented without the government’s and regular citizens’ efforts.
Ethical Standards
My ethical and legal responsibilities to ensure that my final report will be of the highest ethical standards include such factors as the reliability of used bibliography, properly structured paper, and coherence of argumentations in the research. Moreover, I will not plagiarize other scholars’ conclusions, as it is considered to be immoral and impolite to original researchers. Furthermore, I will provide quotations of people who influenced my statements and inferences.
Conclusion
This research plan will be implemented for the purposes of a high-quality scholarly paper on the topic of medicolegal death investigation in the United States of America. However, the main issues of this sphere are the lack of finances and a scanty number of young specialists who would like to develop and build their careers in this system. The research will cover all possible resolves and actions that are essential to consider for the occupation’s development.
