Stakeholder Management Plan

Desired levels of key stakeholders are the ability to participate in decisions regarding the company’s activities, as well as the right to influence management. Current levels permit the right to vote at meetings and a joint development of a business strategy. The ability to give some members certain positions in management can help to build confidence in the team.

All stakeholders have one common goal and work to improve the productivity and competitiveness of the company. Similar views of all team members are proof that the organization is working in the right direction (Tran & Tian, 2013). The same opinions on the process of doing business help to eliminate potential misunderstanding and work together to achieve set goals.

There are several strategies for how to involve stakeholders. They can include building a trusting relationship, overcoming resistance to change, timely conflict resolution, active listening the opinions of all members, and the conclusion of appropriate agreements for the benefit of the company. All these strategies can be quite useful and advantageous.

A stakeholder management plan with the described strategies should be carefully thought out. It can include the achievement of consensus on the project objectives. Also, it is necessary to influence people in a certain way to maintain the current course of work. It is equally essential to respond to changes and organize activities so that all stakeholders could be aware of the potential risks and successes.

Such a stakeholder management plan will help to achieve several important points. Firstly, the team will correctly understand the requirements imposed on it. Secondly, communication will be built at a proper level. Thirdly, all the stakeholders will have entirely objective expectations that will not contradict their goals.

Communications Management Plan

It is possible not only to hold regular joint meetings once a month but also use modern means of contact to communicate with stakeholders. It can be e-mail for the transfer of personal information, as well as social networks where it is easy to inform people in the general group. With the help of such means of communication, all the stakeholders can discuss relevant issues concerning the work of the company.

Some members of the group can also receive urgent messages in accordance with the type of information or the position of a stakeholder. The company can create a specific table, where all the members can see essential information related to each of them. In different cells, a task plan for every member can be displayed so that all team participants could be informed about particular issues. Access keys to the table should be provided; otherwise, some problems will occur, and some of the members will not see necessary data. In the future, employees can check the changes introduced into this table and act according to the goals and tasks displayed.

As a possible assistance to stakeholders, the system of ready-made samples and message models can be developed. Their use will help to reduce the time required for typing and will allow you to contact specific members of the team quickly. Also, stakeholders will not have to come up with appropriate texts since all templates will contain the most popular and frequently used types of questions and replies. All the useful data can be stored in the public domain so that any representative of the company could use them if necessary.
