Oxford school is one of the greatest centers for classical philosophy. The relationship between faith and the natural world was widely examined in this school. Most of the fundamental philosophical beliefs were espoused in the daily lives and operations of its alumni. The actions of Thomas Bradwardine and many other alumni from the Oxford School provided a clear picture of these philosophical beliefs.

The philosophy portrayed the incidence of the Black Death. This is notable within its major disseminations. The general belief was that human beings played a critical role in the linkage between faith and the natural world.
